We are a father daughter cycling duo who are sharing our cycling adventures here.
Over the last couple of years we have used our hobby to raise funds for charities close to our hearts. Our tandem ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats raised over £2,000 each for Cancer Research UK and Zoë’s Place Coventry.
Successfully riding LEJOG gave us the confidence to try a distance cycling challenge on our own bikes leaving the tandem at home to cycle Coast2Coast over three days for 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts.
Now we’re preparing a training schedule to tackle the River Rhine from Source2Sea for 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts in 2017. Meanwhile we are swapping pedals for paddles in response to watching the canoeing and kayaking at the Rio Olympics. We are going to paddle the length of the longest lakes in England, Scotland and Wales over four days on the water.
It will feel strange not pedalling but we’re hoping to raise funds for 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts and Boo will be the youngest girl to paddle all three lakes. Follow our blog to see what we do next.
