We’re rather excited as we are going to be back on Double Trouble for a fun night ride, starting at midnight on the 24th October. Fun might not be the best description as the ride is over 100 miles but it will be exciting to ride past Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle in the night.
Every rider collects a bottle of St Crispin’s Day Night Ride Wine from the midway stop at Stanlake Park Vineyard. Apparently the bottle is specially designed to fit in a bottle cage so we can carry our wine home. The wine is not especially exciting for Boo but exploring London, Berkshire and Surrey at night surrounded by cyclists will be; as will the well-earned bacon butties at the end of the ride.
We think this is a brilliant way to celebrate 600 years since the Battle of Agincourt, made even better by Boo going to see Shakespeare’s “Henry V” in Stratford a few days beforehand.
