Boo and I have been busy making items to sell to help with the fundraising and would like to say a massive thank you to the lovely ladies at Curves in Kenilworth for their help with this in the run up to Valentines Day.
Boo made heart shaped bath bombs (lavender and chamomile so really relaxing and we have some left if anyone is interested), lavender wands and lavender bags…..are you sensing a scented theme? and we added the teddy and balloon decorations left from the Tree Festival at St Nicholas Church.
Between the sale of our handmade goodies and the donations we raised £60. Boo’s family have also been giving her some money to encourage her endeavours so she has been able to add £90 to our running total. She split the money equally between the two charities and was delighted to spot that a lady we met geocaching last month has also made an online donation.
The teddies proved so popular that we are making a fresh batch; and some chocolate scented Easter egg bath bombs if anyone is looking for Easter chocolate that you can’t eat! Watch this blog for more details of when these will be available for you to buy.
Please do pop over to the charity pages and make a donation if you can to help increase our funds raised. We have separate pages for each charity so you can donate to the charity of your choice; Cancer Research or Zoe’s Place in Coventry. Remember that once we reach £1,000 Mark can ask for match funding from his employers! Thank you for your support.
